How long will my "Permanent Cosmetic Makeup"last?
Your permanency depends on many mitigating circumstances. Lighter colors seem to fade more quickly. Your compliance with the after-care instructions, especially using a sunblock until the procedure is completely healed. Generally speaking, clients usually need a touch-up in 2 to 5 years.
Is the procedure painful?
Local ananesthesia is used to anesthetize the area. People have different tollerances of pain. Over the years, most of my clients tell me the eyebrows feel like they are being brushed, the eyeliner tickles, like a feather, and the lips are uncomfortable. I have never had anyone ask me to stop, nor have I ever had anyone skip the touch-up appointment because of the pain.
How long does the procedure take?
It depends on the procedure and the client. Most procedures can be completed in under 2 hours including perfecting the details.
What will I look like after the procedure?
Different people react differently. Most people have a little redness and a minimal amount of swelling. We recommend that you go home a rest the remainder of the day. Most people can return to work or regular activities the next day. The intensity of the color will be greater the first 3 to 5 days. You receive an information sheet giving very detailed instructions. You must avoid the sun, chlorine water, and salt water until you are completed healed. A touch-up is required to reach optimal perfection.
Will I have bruising?
Some people have a minimal amount of bruising. Ice packs usually help. .
